I had no background in anything mechanical or electrical and overall using any tools. This program taught me the strong base that I needed. When I got to work, I was worried that I didn’t know enough to be helpful to my coworkers, but that was the complete opposite. I had a general understanding of what we needed to get done and why. Within about two months as working as an install helper, I was moved to a service tech. I am still learning so much, but I proved to my managers and myself that I can do this.
